MOS — how to file a residence application
An application for temporary, permanent or EU long-term resident permits is filed electronically in the MOS portal (mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl) by logging in via login.gov.pl; using the portal is free.
Key points
- You create a MOS account and log in through login.gov.pl.
- Applications for residence permits and for the CUKR card are filed electronically only, via MOS.
- Not every type of temporary residence application can be filed in MOS — check the exceptions on the portal.
- Information in MOS is not a source of law; the office may request a different set of documents — if in doubt, contact the voivode.
- Never share your login.gov.pl credentials with anyone.
